Karen Rae Kaltenborn Nothstein holds a BFA in Producing with a minor in Screenwriting from Emerson College. She began her career in the Hollywood studio system before returning to Norway, where she has worked across both film and television.

She divides her time between Los Angeles and Norway, with experience on projects ranging from Norwegian drama series to international features. Her work is informed by the creative and production models of both the American and Scandinavian industries, and by an interest in how stories can evolve across cultural and linguistic contexts.
